At Streeton Primary School, we are fortunate to have our very own Farm! Students use all the produce in our Kitchen and create amazing dishes every week!
Located in the Northern Suburb of Yallambie, Streeton Primary School has a clear vision to prepare each of our students for the 21st Century through the delivery of innovative, educational programs and the promotion of curious minds. Our state of the art permaculture farm, school kitchen, mindfulness and 1:1 iPad programs are designed to incorporate 21st Century learning and educational opportunities, with an emphasis on technology and sustainability. These programs are embedded into our curriculum and used to promote engagement and hands on learning opportunities in areas such as maths, english and science. We pride ourselves on providing each student with a nurturing and engaging learning environment. Our teachers are dedicated to providing their students with life long learning skills in a collaborative and supportive community. Through committed staff, a strong teaching methodology and whole school delivery of the Victorian Curriculum, we as a school have consistently achieved student data above state averages in both maths and english across years 3 and 5. |
