Streeton Primary School has a friendly, welcoming environment. We like to see happy, interested learners who enjoy coming to school and who want to take advantage of the wide range of opportunities that we provide. Parents are welcomed, and are welcoming, at our school. In partnership with the staff, they make an enormous, appreciated contribution to the learning journey. Our teaching staff are professional and dedicated to providing learning situations that allow each student to improve and achieve success. Our office staff are friendly and helpful. Our Defence Aide works closely with members of our valued Defence community to assist the transition process for all. We have a dedicated team of Educational Assistants who support students with Special Needs.
We include our students in the learning process by making sure the purpose of learning is clear. We encourage our students to be active in all aspects of their learning. We give them opportunities for input, encourage them to share their opinions, and to keep improving what they do. Through our schoolwide approach to student behaviour, we teach our students to play safely, with respect for all and to accept responsibility for their actions. We have high expectations of our elected Student Leadership team to represent Streeton Primary School responsibly.
We welcome visitors to our school and invite you to make contact with us. Our Principal, Bronwen Lamond, or our Assistant Principal, Lee Pollard, would be delighted to share our school with you. We hope you enjoy reading our website.
